This is not good...

Illness, missed time, overwhelming heat, way too much driving, bad dreams, insomnia, and a Saturday that just could not seem to go right...minus a great gathering for the Wildfire Orgnaizers but that really was only a small part of the day...

Overall... this week is fired.


I'd really like to be able to sleep two or three nights in a row... I'm not greedy, I'll start with two and work my way up.

RIP Susan Butcher

The second woman and four time winner of the Iditarod passed away Saturday from leukemia.  

Her charm and personality was often credited with bringing a whole new audience to the Race.

My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.
