Treats for Tits and the Komen Debacle

As many of you may have guessed, both hammercock and myself were very upset about the Planned Parenthood and Komen debacle (really, what else would you call it) this past week. 

We will NOT be doing the Komen for the Cure 3-Day anymore.   But rest assured Treats for Tits is not dead and I think that I can speak for both of us when I say that this powerful force for good we've created should not be retired. 

Late Spring/Summer we will be holding a Treats for Tits for Planned Parenthood.  We are looking into alternative charities to do fundraising for Cancer research.   We have both lost people to Cancer of various types and/or have people living with the specter of it now.   It is something we both feel strongly about.

The Avon Walk is one of the things on my radar, though they don't seem to have an entry on Charity Navigator.   I will be looking into other groups as well.   If you have any suggestions, please feel free leave them in the comments.

I'm planning on being involved with the Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk this coming September (I'm incredibly grateful to Dana Farber). I may try to put a team together. Do you have any interest in this?
