Wild Night

It was one very wild night. The wind pounded the house, howling like a banshee. And lightning... Yes, that's right, we had a couple of bolts of lightning here and the accompanying rolls of thunder. It was eerie.

Now, it's morning, sunny, the wind still blowing with blistering cold and snow drifts just large enough to snag the Wrangler and hold it. I knew there was no way we were getting the rental out, but I didn't think it was high enough to cause the Wrangler a problem. Oh well... Now the wait to see how long it takes before the alleyway gets cleared.

Work has had me a major stress puppy. And I was quite happy not to have go in right away this morning. The snow is giving me a much needed break. We are still woefully short handed (anyone looking for desktop support work?) and the work has just been building up. My brain has been mush and I'm afraid I haven't always been the most pleasant person to be around.

But the good news is I have a wonderful new man in my life. We started dating a few weeks ago and things are going very well. And another really cool guy whom I had one date with but we haven't had a chance to get together again... yet.
