Sun Protective Clothing

Despite taking careful precautions, I am once again sick after spending a day in the sun.

Has anyone had any experience with Sun Protective clothing? It is not really cheap, and I would like to hear from someone who might have some before I make the investment.

I really don't want to spend the entire summer indoors.
