When for a physical this morning. New doctor at the Marino Center in Cambridge. She was really cool, I think I will get along well with her.

But when she took my temp it came up as 100.9.

"Are you feeling OK?" She asked.
"I've been feeling a bit run down the last day or so and a bit shaky. I hadn't really thought much about it though," was my reply.
"You are probably coming down with something...rest and plenty of fluids--take something like tylenol to get the fever down."

Well, I took Tylenol when I got to work and it didn't put a dent in it. On the way home (I headed home at 11am) I really started feeling it...but no other symptons. Very minor throat irritation that seems to have gone away, but the fever has been either steady or worse all day. I finally found the thermometer around 7pm and my temp is still almost 101. Still no other symptons.

Color me puzzled. Extremely wiped out and drained bu puzzled.

Bed now.

I don't know if I passed something to you or some other party guest passed something to us, but I went to Urgent Care on Wednesday and was prescribed antibiotics to deal for my cold/swollen throat/slight temperature/et cetera symptoms...the swab was negative for strep, else I'd have made more of an effort to get in touch with you all with a warning notice. I hope you're feeling more better now. :(

Fever broke around 11pm on Wednesday night, I was a little congested on Thursday but other than that the very slight sore throat was the only other thing was going on. They checked for strep too...no dice.

I am feeling much better now, I hope you are too. Maybe it was something we both picked up on Sat.
