I got home on Friday Night to find that I had both a voicemail and an email from a Coach at the 3-Day. (That's what they call their customer service reps).
It stated that considering one of the reasons I listed for withdrawing was that my walking partner was pregnant would I be interested in doing Crew instead this year? I had already investigated this on the website but it said that Boston Crew was closed (Boston is apparently one of the most popular places to Crew) The Coach said she had already asked the Volunteer\Crew Manager and that as long as they could get my answer by 6pm PDT, she would add me on. (The time limit had something to do with starting the Crew assessment/assignments this week.)
So yes, I will be doing the 3-Day again this year, but I will be doing Crew instead. There is no minimum fundraising for Crew, but I will most likely hold a Treat for Tits Auction anyway--just because its fun and its a way to contribute as well as get us all baking... ;-)
